Annemone's Approach
The body is not a tool — it is
the way home.
Annemone works at the intersection of movement,
breath, and nervous system regulation. Her approach
is grounded in the principle of embodiment: not
thinking about the body, but arriving within it.
Each class is an invitation back — to your own
sensation, your own strength, your own stillness.
Yoga not as performance, but as a practice of feeling.
_Earth
Grounding, stability, physical strength.
Classes that root the pelvic floor, legs and the whole
body — the foundation from which
everything else grows.
_Water
Emotional depth, flow, release.
Classes that open the sacral chakra and hips
and gently dissolve emotional patterns
held in the body.
_Fire
Transformation, willpower, digestive fire.
Dynamic practice that activates the solar plexus
and ignites the inner centre.
_Air
Breath, heart, connection. Breathwork and
heart-opening sequences that allow Prana to flow
and bring the nervous system into gentle
co-regulation.
_Aether
Space, stillness, pure awareness. The subtlest of all elements —
the primordial ground that holds all others. Classes that lead into silence
and make inner space tangible.
About us
_Origin of the name
Ancient earth force —
the becoming.
ANUNEA carries two roots within it —
one ancient and one emerging.
Anu
Celtic mother goddess of abundance and earth —
guardian of the fields and all that grows in the soil.
The nurturing mother. "She nourished the gods of Ireland."
The hills in County Kerry still bear her name today.
Nea
Derived from the German "neu" — meaning new,
emerging, in the process of becoming.
Not the destination. The practice.
Nanette, Nathalie and Annemone — three women who did not seek each other out
and yet found one another. Found on a sinking ship, through long years of close collaboration,
time and again setting their sails into the storm. What binds them is not an idea —
it is lived trust and competence that has proven itself under pressure.
Each of them is a world unto herself. Nanette studied communication science,
politics and education — a woman who understands how words, spaces and people interact.
Nathalie is a designer and entrepreneur whose interest in regulatory medicine
goes far beyond the ordinary — she combines a sense of design with deep medical understanding.
Annemone brings together yoga, photography and a medical background —
and the quiet, precise presence of a woman who has found her own way through difficult terrain.
The subject of trauma and challenge is foreign to none of them.
Perhaps that is the real reason ANUNEA could come into being —
because people have come together here who know what it means
to rise again.

From personal experience —
into the space for others.
Background
Medicine & Art
Annemone is a Hatha yoga teacher, fine-art photographer and the heart of ANUNEA.
Her path to yoga led her through her own experience of trauma to the healing power
of movement — and ultimately onto the yoga mat.
With an original background in medicine, she brings a deeper understanding of the
human body and holistic health into her teaching. For over 20 years she has worked
as a fine-art photographer, specialising in music and artist portraits. This fine,
attentive quality of observation shapes her yoga classes equally.
Annemone believes in a path back to oneself and into the body, which can sometimes
seem lost — yoga not as a task, but as a door that opens gently and reveals one's
own inner world again. To hear yourself more clearly.
To become one with yourself, softly and with kindness. Her teaching is shaped by
grounding, humour and warmth. She creates spaces where people can meet themselves
in new ways — with mindfulness, lightness and depth.
